Jules Packman is a singer/songwriter, who lives in Duncannon, PA, just a stone's skip up the river from the capitol city of Harrisburg. She writes poetry and song about love & loathing, dreams and her innermost conscious thoughts, sometimes colaborating with her beloved father Ira, with whom she penned the song "Here I Go Again". Her writing style is that of a contemporary nature, but also posesses a flare of exquisite, classical poetic language, fused with her intricate, fingerstyle guitar playing and warm coffee like voice. As a performer, she is able to mix humor and sincerity, to inevitably, win her audience over, with her original compositions, as well as with her signature cover song "Me & Bobby McGee". I have shared the stage, stood right next to her, with my eyes closed, playing guitar on this song, and have felt the electricity of the spirit of Janis, reach out and punch me right between the eyes. However, leaving no doubt...Jules Packman is unequivocally, Jules Packman. -Dave Heilman, singer/songwriter
